United Rentals, Inc. is hiring for a Sales Development Program Sales Associate in Pittsburg, CA. You will begin with branch-based training, shadow sales and operations, and participate in a company-wide onboarding program to sharpen your sales skills.

You’ll progress through outbound campaigns, working with CRM, inventory systems, and customer portals while learning to lead price discussions, contract negotiations, and equipment sales. This is a growth path toward Outside Sales roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile phone/tablet skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Begin your training at a local branch, shadowing both sales and operations roles.
• Join North America-wide onboarding to sharpen sales technique.
• Progress through outbound campaigns across construction verticals and segments.
• Master United Rentals sales tools, including CRM, inventory platforms, and portals.
• Lead high-level sales conversations involving pricing, contracts, and equipment sales.
• Participate in local team initiatives and track progress with real-time metrics.
