United Rentals is seeking a Sales Associate for its Power & HVAC team, offering a structured SDP to prepare you for an Outside Sales Representative role. You will train locally, shadow sales and operations, and progress through campaigns while mastering CRM and related tools.

You’ll participate in onboarding across North America, learn sales methodologies, and drive revenue growth through customer engagements, pricing discussions, and service contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Begin training at a local branch, shadowing sales and operations to learn the equipment-rental lifecycle.
• Join North America-wide onboarding to sharpen sales techniques and build internal networks.
• Engage in outbound sales campaigns across construction verticals and customer segments.
• Master sales tools including CRM, inventory management, customer portal, and mobile apps.
• Lead high-level sales conversations, including price negotiations and service contracts.
• Learn proven sales methodologies to deliver customer solutions and revenue growth.
• Participate in local team activities and track progress via performance metrics.
