Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Sales Associate for its Tool Solutions team. This program offers a structured training path to prepare you for an Outside Sales Representative role.

You will shadow sales and operations, learn tools and processes, and participate in outbound campaigns across construction segments. You'll gain hands-on experience with CRM, inventory management, and customer portals while building relationships to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Training: must live within reasonable driving distance and report on-site.

Responsibilities

• Shadow sales and operations to understand the full equipment-rental lifecycle.
• Participate in onboarding and sales training with North American peers.
• Engage in outbound sales campaigns across construction verticals.
• Learn and use United Rentals sales tools, including CRM, inventory management, and customer portal.
