Job summary

La-Z-Boy is seeking a sales-focused associate to drive in-store furniture and design sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will promote our Design program and collaborate with Designers to meet sales goals, guiding customers through fabric selections, room designs, and professional installation options.

The role emphasizes using the La-Z-Boy selling process, building relationships, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Drives sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations to present customized room designs and installations.
• Open and close the store and maintain daily records and order information.
