Job summary

La-Z-Boy is seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to drive store sales, promote our Design program, and provide exceptional customer service. You will learn La-Z-Boy’s selling process, present furniture and design options, and schedule home consultations to create customized room designs.

Responsibilities include delivering a positive shopping experience, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring accurate customer records and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by selling furniture, accessories, and services.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Follows the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations for customized room designs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and design benefits.
• Manage customer records, deposits, and deliveries; facilitate follow-up.
