Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks a motivated sales associate to drive in-store furniture, accessories, and design services. You will deliver exceptional customer service, guide customers through the selling process, and promote the Design program with the Designer to achieve set sales goals.

You will schedule home consultations, present customized room designs, and leverage product knowledge to ensure a positive shopping experience, including after-sale follow-up and ongoing customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to build rapport
• Strong customer service orientation with persuasion and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and meet store goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services
• Promote the Design program and assist Designers to reach sales targets
• Build rapport with customers and guide them through the La-Z-Boy selling process
• Schedule home consultations and present customized room designs
