Confidence Ford of Norman, part of Cavender Auto Family, is hiring Sales Consultants to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and reaching goals, this is your chance to start a career in automotive sales.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable making daily outbound and cold calls required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify their vehicle needs
• Guide customers through the sales process, including selection, demonstrations, test drives, and paperwork
• Present pricing, deal structures, and available products clearly and professionally
• Make daily outbound and cold calls to current customers, previous customers, internet leads, and prospects
• Actively follow up with customers via phone, text, and email to generate appointments and sales opportunities
• Use CRM tools to track all customer interactions, follow-ups, and opportunities
• Prospect for new business and consistently generate your own leads
• Coordinate vehicle delivery and registration
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve dealership goals

What You'll Do

As a Sales Consultant, you'll help customers find the right vehicle while delivering an exceptional buying experience. This is a proactive, high-energy sales role where success is driven by relationship-building, follow-up, and consistent outbound communication.

• Greet customers and identify their vehicle needs and preferences
• Guide customers through the sales process, including selection, demonstrations, test drives, and paperwork
• Present new and pre-owned vehicles in a professional and knowledgeable manner
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver an outstanding experience
• Make daily outbound and cold calls to current customers, previous customers, internet leads, and prospects
• Actively follow up with customers via phone, text, and email to generate appointments and sales opportunities
• Use CRM tools to track all customer interactions, follow-ups, and opportunities
• Prospect for new business and consistently generate your own leads
• Present pricing, deal structures, and available products clearly and professionally
• Stay current on product knowledge, features, technology, and manufacturer programs through ongoing training
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction scores
• Coordinate vehicle delivery and registration
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals

What We’re Looking For

Automotive experience is NOT required.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated, coachable, competitive, and comfortable taking initiative. Successful Sales Consultants are not afraid to pick up the phone, make outbound calls, and create their own opportunities.
