Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking Sales Associates to deliver friendly, accurate service while helping customers find products to complete their projects. Roles include fast-paced, safe environment duties, stocking, checkout processing, and collaborative teamwork. Minimum age 18, basic math, and customer service experience are required.

Some positions may require forklift certification, and compliance with safety procedures is expected. Both full-time and part-time openings are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone per guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
