Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service and assist customers with product selection on the sales floor. The role supports a fast-paced, safe environment with well-stocked departments and attentive checkout service.

Positions available include both full-time and part-time roles. Candidates should be 18+, with basic math and customer service experience; forklift certification may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires passing a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend products.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
• Maintain in-stock condition in assigned areas; keep area clean, shoppable, and safe.
• Work with management and team to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check, and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company values and safety processes.
• Answer phone calls per guidelines.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
