Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring Sales Associates to deliver friendly, accurate service and help customers find products for their projects. Roles include both full-time and part-time positions on the sales floor, with a focus on fast-paced support and a safe, well-stocked environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, processing transactions, and ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and labeled.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications.
• Drug test may be required where permitted by state law.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and keep it clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company core values.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety processes.
• Answer calls according to guidelines.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
