Job summary

Moody’s seeks a Safety Manager to lead and continuously improve safety programs across field and office operations. You will promote a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA and client requirements, coordinate training, inspections, and incident reporting.

The role requires a related bachelor’s degree and several years of safety experience, with knowledge of safety platforms and risk management. Some travel to Moody locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, risk management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible safety experience is preferred.
• Experience with safety programs for field and/or industrial operations is strongly preferred.
• Experience using ISNetworld, Veriforce, Avetta or similar platforms is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Moody’s safety programs and written plans.
• Lead safety training for employees, including field safety and incident reporting.
• Conduct or coordinate safety inspections, audits, and field visits to identify hazards.
• Investigate workplace incidents; document findings and assist with corrective actions.
• Coordinate OSHA recordkeeping, incident tracking, and client reporting requirements.
