Job summary

Path Environmental Technology is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety programs across field operations. This role acts as the primary safety authority, ensuring OSHA and client-specific requirements are met while supporting operations leadership and field crews.

The position requires hands-on field presence, strong incident investigation skills, and the ability to balance operational realities with uncompromising safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of safety experience with progressive positions or equivalent operational experience.
• Minimum 5 years in high hazard or industrial environments (tank cleaning, industrial services, petrochemical, refining).
• OSHA 30 certification.
• CSP or ASP certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Company’s safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide field safety presence with site visits across the project.
• Lead HS&E programs in the field and coach teams.
• Perform job site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Regularly review applicable legislation and standards for compliance.
• Lead permit-required confined space, HAZWOPER, LOTO, JSAs, and SSSPs.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training and ensure proper documentation.
