Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Safety Manager to strengthen our safety culture and promote compliant operations across our Texas locations. You will partner with leaders to identify hazards, implement safety programs, and drive continuous improvement to protect associates and customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in workplace safety, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven experience in training and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in workplace safety, environmental health and safety, risk management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local workplace safety regulations.
• Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture through associate engagement and consistent safety practices.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver safety training across company locations and departments.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards and compliance concerns.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Perform risk assessments and partner with leaders to reduce workplace hazards.
