Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Safety Manager to strengthen our safety culture and ensure compliant operations across the organization. You will partner with leaders to reduce hazards, conduct training, and support safety programs while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The ideal candidate brings proactive collaboration, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to translate requirements into practical, field-ready solutions that protect associates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in workplace safety, EH&S, or risk management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Ability to conduct inspections and identify hazards.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Experience developing safety programs and training material.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and coaching.
• Develop and improve safety, health, and environmental policies and programs.
• Deliver safety training across locations and departments.
• Conduct facility inspections and identify hazards and compliance concerns.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments with leaders and implement improvements.
• Review safety data to spot trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support safety initiatives reducing injuries and liability incidents.
• Provide regulatory guidance to associates and leadership.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
• Coordinate responses to customer HSE requests and site assessments.
