Southwest Electrical Contracting Services, LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the safety program across active electrical construction sites in South Texas. The role is field-heavy, coaching foremen and electricians while enforcing safety rules and OSHA/NFPA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and NFPA 70E training, with strong incident investigation and training coordination skills. Travel to project sites is required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of construction safety experience, including electrical work.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, and temp electrical installs.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction required; OSHA 500 preferred; NFPA 70E training required.
• CSP/ASP/CHST or STS preferred.
• Experience writing site-specific safety plans and managing training docs.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to San Antonio/South Texas projects.
• Strong communication with field crews and clients; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Associate degree or higher in safety/construction management or related field.

Mansioni

• Develop, maintain, and enforce safety manuals and site plans for electrical scopes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, NFPA 70E, and client safety programs.
• Lead the electrical safety program, including arc-flash and LOTO.
• Conduct job hazard analyses, pre-task planning, and site inspections.
• Investigate incidents; perform root-cause reviews and corrective actions.
• Deliver and track training: OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, fall protection, and more.
• Audit PPE use and equipment condition; ensure availability and safety readiness.
• Support preconstruction safety planning and client safety orientations.
• Monitor safety metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Represent SWECS in client, GC, and regulatory inspections.
• Promote stop-work culture and progressive discipline when needed.
