Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Safety Manager to strengthen our safety culture and promote compliant operations across the organization. You will develop, implement, and administer safety programs while partnering with leaders to reduce workplace hazards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in workplace safety, knowledge of OSHA requirements, and strong communication skills to align safety requirements with business goals. This role requires travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in workplace safety or related field.
• Working knowledge of occupational safety regulations and loss prevention.
• Experience inspecting workplaces and identifying hazards.
• Experience investigating incidents and recommending corrective actions.
• Ability to communicate safety requirements across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, coaching, and practices.
• Develop and improve safety, health, and environmental policies and programs.
• Deliver safety training across locations and departments.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify hazards and regulatory concerns.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with leaders to reduce workplace hazards and injuries.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
• Support responses to customer safety/inquiry requests.
