Job summary

OpenGov in Chicago, IL seeks a Project Manager III to lead multi-customer deployments, coordinating scope, timelines, and resources across cross-functional teams. You will serve as the main contact for implementation, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful solution deployments.

You will partner with sales and engineering to refine plans, gather required documentation, and manage risks. Some travel may be required to sites, with a focus on delivering a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management or related experience in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with government budgeting concepts and/or finance/budgeting solutions is a strong plus.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs.
• Strong analytical thinking, system perspective, and diligent process analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Set scope, timeline, and deliverables to ensure a successful deployment for multiple customers.
• Be the primary point of contact for project implementation activity.
• Establish project command and control of project delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather documentation and resources and set expectations.
• Participate in the sales process as needed and contribute to Statement of Work creation.
• Identify early signs of project and customer risks and devise risk responses.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to conduct training and strengthen relationships.
