Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a Project Manager III to lead cross-functional deployments for multiple public sector customers. You will define scope, timelines, and deliverables, work with sales and solutions teams, and ensure a smooth customer experience.

The role requires at least 3 years of project management in SaaS, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with CRM/PS tools. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of project management or related experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate details into the “big picture” views.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with Professional Services and CRM tools.
• Experience with government budgeting concepts and practices and/or finance/budgeting solutions is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Set scope, timeline, and deliverables for multiple customer deployments.
• Organize and manage a portfolio of projects by complexity and scope.
• Be a primary point of contact for project implementation activity.
• Establish project command and control of delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather documentation and resources, and set expectations.
• Participate in the sales process as needed.
• Identify early signs of risk and devise mitigation strategies.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for training and relationship-building.
• Assist in enhancing project delivery methodologies.
