Job summary

OpenGov Inc. is seeking a Manager I to lead a team of Implementation Analysts/Consultants responsible for successful deployment of OpenGov solutions in the public sector.

You will oversee data gathering, configuration, and administrator training, while mentoring staff to ensure high-quality implementations. You will collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to address customer pain points, improve delivery, and ensure on-time, within-budget projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience.
• 3 years of project delivery experience in a SaaS setting.
• GIS software experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with customers at all organizational levels with professionalism and business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills with focus on team culture, accountability and growth.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Balance profitability with a customer-service mindset.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Implementation Analysts and/or Implementation Consultants.
• Oversee data requirements gathering, platform configuration, and administrator training.
• Troubleshoot data formatting, system logic, and configuration workflows.
• Reinforce implementation methodology, process documentation, and technical standards.
• Provide hands-on support for complex projects and data transformation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify and automate customer workflows.
• Track team utilization, delivery metrics, and project portfolio health.
• Balance competing priorities and manage risk across portfolios.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align expectations.
