Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative in San Jose, CA to grow our existing software client base and expand SaaS adoption. The role involves calling on clients to nurture relationships and pursue new opportunities to meet a sales quota, with more than 50% of work conducted outside the home office.

You’ll identify SaaS opportunities, execute established processes, and participate in regular sales meetings and trainings to stay aligned with company strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (SaaS preferred).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full cycle).
• Industry knowledge with understanding of Thryv product suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work remotely in a remote-first environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn new tools.
• Must live within 1-hour commute of the posting city; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Increase Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base and grow the SaaS client base through new sales.
• Call on existing clients to nurture relationships and pursue opportunities to meet sales quotas.
• Contact assigned clients and present opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients through self-generated prospecting and company programs.
• Execute defined processes and requirements for client engagement, product demos, and orders.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
