Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to expand Thryv’s footprint among current software clients in Fresno and Bakersfield, CA. This field-focused role involves increasing client engagement, pursuing new SaaS opportunities, and meeting strict sales quotas from a remote-first work setup.

The position requires 3+ years of direct SaaS sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently while aligning with company processes and training

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid driver’s license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Increase Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base and grow SaaS client engagement to meet quotas.
• Call on assigned clients and present opportunities for additional sales based on client needs.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients via self-prospecting and company programs.
• Execute defined operational processes for client engagement, product demos, and order entry.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
• Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to learn how Thryv can grow their business.
• Partner with marketing and technology teams to implement sales strategies and product enhancements.
