Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow the SaaS client base in Fresno/Bakersfield. This role involves >50% field activity and requires 3+ years in direct SaaS sales, with outbound sales experience and strong relationship-building skills.

You will engage existing clients, pursue new business, and collaborate with marketing and technology teams to drive sales strategy. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required.
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle).
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid driver’s license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute).

Responsibilities

• Grow Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base and expand SaaS usage.
• Call on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships and pursue new client opportunities to meet sales quotas.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients via self-generated prospecting and company initiatives.
• Execute defined operational processes and requirements for client engagement, product demos, and order entry.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
