Job summary

Norstella is seeking a RWD Analytic Consultant to join our engagement team in delivering real-world data solutions across the life sciences industry. You will be querying and analyzing claims, lab results, EMR, and other RWD sources, translating findings into actionable insights for clients.

Ideal candidates hold a quantitative degree with 3+ years in RWD, strong SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and commercial teams within the US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with RWD (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases (SQL preferred).
• Client-facing experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, results-oriented, decisive and creative.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze a wide range of healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR) to support analytical use cases.
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends and drive evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements and deliver insights.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats with quality controls.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, mappings, and lineage for transparency and accessibility.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
• All other duties as assigned.
