Job summary

Norstella is seeking a highly energized RWD Analytic Consultant to join the RWD Engagement Team. You will analyze real‑world data from claims, labs, and EMR to derive actionable insights for life sciences clients across the US market.

The role requires strong SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work with clinicians, data scientists, and professionals in a fast‑paced environment. Remote work from the United States is supported with a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of professional experience working hands on with RWD (e.g., claims, lab, EMR/EHR, hospital chargemaster, billing codes).
• Understanding of life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases (SQL experience preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, with a proactive and self‑driven approach.
• Client‑facing experience a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, results‑oriented and creative.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze a wide range of healthcare data sources including claims, lab results, EMR, and other real‑world data.
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends, optimize patient care, and drive evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytics requirements and deliver insights.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, dictionaries, mappings, and lineage for transparency.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
• All other duties as assigned.
