Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Trainee in Florida to begin a rewarding career in service and customer care. You will receive hands-on training through blended programs while supporting daily operations and preparing to transition into a full-time Route Service Representative.

You will assist with deliveries, service, and route coverage while learning multiple customer accounts, upholding UniFirst’s standards of safety and professionalism. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Comfort with learning new technologies to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in UniFirst’s Service Certificate Program to prepare for an RSR role.
• Help load/unload route trucks and support daily operations.
• Deliver clean garments to customers and collect soiled items.
• Provide route coverage when needed and manage established routes.
• Operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes with safety as a priority.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments with energy and attention to detail.
• Contribute to service department success by delivering outstanding service.
