Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Trainee in Florida to learn a field-based service role and support daily operations. You will participate in the Service Certificate Program, assist with loading/unloading, and deliver garments to customers while building strong customer relationships.

The role trains toward a full-time Route Service Representative, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance including a physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Service Certificate Program to prepare for the Route Service Representative role.
• Load and unload route trucks and ensure accurate daily start.
• Deliver clean garments and return soiled items on schedule.
• Provide route coverage during RSR absences to maintain service levels.
• Operate a company walk‑in truck along designated routes and ensure safety.
• Work in indoors and outdoors environments with energy and attention to safety.
• Support the Service Department through reliable customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.
