Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in transportation, management, logistics or waste industry.
• Knowledge of Smith System and/or Decision Driving principles.
• Basic computer skills and MS applications.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; ensure safety and core values are followed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and policy compliance.
• Conduct safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices.
• Plan routes for new service starts and manage schedules and labor costs.
• Address customer issues and coordinate with sales for service changes.
• Monitor route safety observations and driver training needs.
• Oversee pre-trip inspections, vehicle repairs, and DOT hours compliance.
• Handle accident reports and workers' compensation processes.
• Provide orientation and conduct performance evaluations.
