Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a Commercial Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery for commercial customers, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of contracted services.

The role emphasizes adherence to Waste Pro practices, procedures, and safety standards while applying Positive Leadership principles with drivers. The position requires supervising drivers, coordinating routes, and communicating effectively with customers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years in transportation/management or 2 years with an Associate's degree.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license (or ability to obtain within 3 months) with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Smith System and/or Decision Driving principles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise drivers, manage routes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise drivers and daily operations; ensure safety and service quality.
• Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment; enforce company policies.
• Route planning for new starts; monitor productivity and adjust routes to maximize calls and minimize costs.
• Address customer issues, dispatch communications, and coordinate with sales where needed.
• Oversee route observations, safety compliance, and training needs; manage DOT hours and maintenance coordination.
