Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage a dedicated route, delivering garments and products and picking up items daily. You will load/unload trucks, grow customer relationships, and ensure on-time, accurate service while prioritizing safety.

The role offers a field-based schedule with Monday–Friday daytime hours, no nights, and opportunities for commission-based earnings through upselling and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route with daily deliveries and pickups.
• Support daily operations by loading/unloading route trucks.
• Deliver consistent, on-time service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships by addressing service needs and upselling where appropriate.
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell garments and products.
• Represent UniFirst on the road with safe driving and professionalism.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments with energy and attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety.
