Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Route Service Representative to be the face of UniFirst for customers, delivering and picking garments, growing accounts, and owning a dedicated route on a day-by-day basis.

You will load/unload trucks, ensure on-time deliveries, build relationships, upsell where appropriate, and maintain safety and compliance while working in a field-based role with a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam.
• Educational requirement: high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route as the primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Assist service team by loading and unloading route trucks to start each day efficiently.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with strong customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships by addressing service needs and upselling where appropriate.
• Identify upsell opportunities to grow the route and earnings potential.
• Represent UniFirst on the road by operating a company walk-in truck and prioritizing safety.
• Engage in a physically active role; work indoors and outdoors with attention to safety.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards.
