UniFirst is seeking a Route Trainee in Baltimore to learn our service model while supporting daily operations. You’ll participate in our Service Certificate Program and gain hands-on experience delivering and servicing customer accounts.

This entry‑level role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer focus, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and clear path to a full‑time Route Service Representative role as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• DOT compliance requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service or delivery is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Participate in UniFirst’s Service Certificate Program to prepare for an RSR role.
• Assist service team by loading/unloading route trucks.
• Deliver clean garments and return soiled items on schedule.
• Provide route coverage when needed to manage established routes.
• Operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes with safety focus.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, staying energetic and safety-minded.
• Contribute to the Service Department's success through dependable service.
• Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.
