The role includes assigning routes, monitoring daily tasks for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers, data entry, and close collaboration with Customer Service and Supervisors to resolve issues and keep customers informed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base to dispatch calls as received, using driver locations and loads to balance cost and speed of response.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers daily and for the next day; close tickets each day.
• Plan, distribute, monitor and follow-up daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers to ensure service levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup issues; communicate with drivers and customers to maintain satisfaction.
• Answer incoming calls from Customer Service and provide requested route information; coordinate with Sales/Operations managers.
• Communicate with maintenance shop and serve as emergency contact for drivers.
• Enter and verify data in Tower/Trackese; close tickets and maintain driver/route data.
• Print, review and correct productivity reports for route supervisors daily.
• Distribute and maintain driver phones/radios; manage software updates and charging.
