Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Dispatcher to communicate with drivers, respond to service orders, schedule service, and maintain daily routing data and crew entries. You will distribute information to driver teams and ensure timely execution of routes.

Responsibilities include assigning routes and tickets, tracking progress, solving delivery and pickup issues, and coordinating with Customer Service, Operations, and Sales for prompt follow-through. Data entry and reporting are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months related work experience.
• Experience in waste, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to interact professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base; dispatch drivers to calls as they come in.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan and monitor daily route assignments for residential, roll-off, and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup issues; communicate changes to Sales staff.
