Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate with drivers, respond to service orders, schedule routes, and document daily routing data. You will distribute information to driver teams and balance efficiency with service quality.

The role requires strong communication with drivers and customers, problem-solving for route issues, and precise data entry into Tower and Trackese systems. A candidate with logistics or call-center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of related work experience.
• Experience in waste, transportation, or logistics preferred.
• Previous call center customer service experience preferred.
• Strong telephone and two-way radio skills; courteous communication.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve problems quickly.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base; dispatch calls as received.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers; close tickets daily.
• Plan daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and communicate with drivers and customers.
• Handle incoming calls and provide route information; coordinate with Customer Service.
• Enter data into Tower and Trackese; produce productivity reports daily.
• Distribute driver phones/radios and manage software updates.
• Assist with PPE inventory; support Saturday work as needed.
