Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn and cover multiple routes, delivering garments and products, while ensuring excellent customer service and safe, efficient operations.

Key duties include managing invoices, conducting inventory audits, and collaborating with service teams. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, DOT compliance, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT compliance and physical exam required.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently with a team mindset.
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery a plus.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using new technologies to improve operations.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes and collect used items.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently through problem solving.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams on installations, route support, rerouting, and collections.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local market activity.
