Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to fill in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You’ll train on multiple routes and ensure seamless service to our customers with proactive, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading garments, delivering to customers, handling invoices, conducting audits, and maintaining vehicle safety and appearance.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements met, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable.
• Deliver garments and products to customers and collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Accurately manage invoices and conduct basic inventory checks.
• Follow safety standards, traffic laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with service and management teams for new accounts and rerouting; upsell where appropriate.
