Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to fill in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You’ll learn multiple routes, handle garments, and ensure timely service to customers along established routes.

This role emphasizes proactive service, safety, and efficient problem solving, with opportunities to collaborate across the Service and Management teams and to upsell and strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical certification requirements.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in delivery, route sales, or customer service is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
• Problem solve to meet customer needs and maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain invoices, perform inventory audits, and uphold vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
