Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to provide exceptional service by covering delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments, and ensure customers experience seamless service with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities include handling invoices, conducting inventory checks, and maintaining safety and vehicle appearance. This role emphasizes autonomy, safety, and excellent communication with location leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Proven customer service experience on routes or delivery.
• Ability to work independently while following company policies.
• DOT compliance requirements, including a physical exam.
• Relevant experience in route sales, delivery, or customer service is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and quick learner of new systems.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable.
• Deliver garments and products to customers on established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service to maintain strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and effectively.
• Accurately manage invoices, perform inventory checks, and maintain vehicle appearance and safety.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
