Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will deliver garments, interact with customers, and ensure timely, safe service across assigned routes.

Responsibilities include on-time deliveries, inventory checks, and maintaining vehicle safety. Requires a valid license, DOT compliance, and physical stamina. Full-time role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Must meet DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfort with using new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products along established routes and collect used items.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Resolve customer requests with proactive problem-solving.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety/appearance.
• Follow safety standards and traffic laws at all times.
• Collaborate with service and management teams on route support and installations.
