Job summary

UniFirst is hiring a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload clean garments and products to customers along established routes, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You’ll support new installations, upsell opportunities, and collaborate with service and management teams. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong customer service, and adherence to DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements met, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Resolve customer requests independently and maintain satisfaction.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and keep vehicle clean and safe.
• Follow traffic laws and safety standards to ensure safety of self and others.
• Collaborate with teams to assist on routes, support new account installations, and upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate customer feedback and market competition to location leadership.
