Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for its Fleet division to keep our fleet operations running smoothly 24/7. You will troubleshoot events, assign the nearest service provider, and communicate ETA to customers while ensuring proper authorization before dispatch.

We value proactive problem solvers with dispatching experience who can handle varied shift schedules and contribute to our growing automotive services team.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching for breakdown/tires, or 5 years of related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make repairs.
• Inform the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair problems.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
