Cox Automotive is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator to manage the logistics of fleet operations and ensure timely maintenance and repairs. You will assign events, verify authorizations, and dispatch the nearest service provider while communicating ETA and handling customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching for breakdown or tire, or 5 years in related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations; ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise customer of ETA and follow required instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repairs problems.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
