Job summary

NANA Management Services seeks a Security Officer for Maniilaq Village Health Clinics and surrounding areas. The role runs on a 1 week on / 1 week off rotation, with on-call duties outside normal hours.

Training is a ten-day program in Kotzebue, AK, with lodging and transportation provided for new hires. Responsibilities include monitoring facilities, de-escalation of incidents, reporting, and assisting with events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass Alaska background check and pay $97 license fee.
• Ability to work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients.
• Must be able to make quick decisions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas using visual, electronic, or audible means.
• De-escalate situations to ensure safety of staff and customers.
• Inspect doors, windows, and areas to ensure security.
• Record data on incidents and comply with policies.
