Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Operations Specialist in Los Angeles to ensure robotaxis are ready, safe, and reliable. You will perform daily checks, respond to in-field recoveries, and operate autonomous vehicles via remote interfaces to maintain mission availability and rider experience.

The role requires 2–4 years in a fast-paced logistics/customer service environment, a clean driving record, and comfort with terminal commands and remote operation tools.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment blending logistics with customer service.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; precision urban driving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-precision daily pre-service and post-service checks for the autonomous Robotaxi fleet, including mechanical inspections, sensor verification, and data-processing steps.
• Serve as primary in-field responder for vehicle recovery and repositioning on public roads, coordinating safe extractions and documenting incidents in real time.
• Operate autonomous vehicles using remote input devices to facilitate recovery, repositioning, or movement through complex environments.
• Provide professional rider support during recovery events, including safe vehicle entry/exit and light concierge support at sites.
• Troubleshoot system blockers using terminal commands and internal GUIs, power cycle hardware, and flash vehicle firmware to restore operability.
