Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading global workforce solutions company, is seeking a Readiness and Response Operator 2 for an autonomous vehicle client in Phoenix. You will perform pre-service and post-service checks, handle in-field recovery, and use remote operation tools to support the robotaxi fleet.

The role requires safety discipline, the ability to document incidents, lifting up to 50 lbs, and passing background checks.

Qualifications

• Safety protocols and PPE must be followed.
• Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening; comply with Substance Abuse Policy.
• 2–4 years in fast-paced environments blending logistics and customer service.
• Comfort using terminal commands, laptops, mobile devices, and remote operation interfaces to manage vehicle states.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise pre-service and post-service checks including mechanical inspections and sensor verification.
• Serve as primary in-field responder for vehicle recovery and documentation of incidents.
• Use remote operation tools to maneuver autonomous vehicles during recovery or complex navigation tasks.
• Provide professional, empathetic assistance to passengers during recovery events and offer light concierge support at pickup/drop-off sites.
• Use terminal commands and interfaces to diagnose blockers, power-cycle hardware, or flash firmware to restore operation.
