Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Operations Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. You will execute precise pre/post-service checks, support field recovery, and operate autonomous vehicles with remote input devices to keep the fleet available and riders safe.

You will troubleshoot issues, assist at PUDO sites, and provide empathetic rider support during recovery events while working a fast-paced operational environment. Weekly pay and strong safety protocols are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment blending logistics with customer service.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen, and comply with the Substance Abuse Policy.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean/excellent driving record; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision daily pre-service and post-service checks for the autonomous Robotaxi fleet, including mechanical inspections, sensor verification, and data-processing steps to support mission availability.
• Serve as primary in-field responder for vehicle recovery and repositioning on public roads; coordinate safe extrications; document incidents in real time; assist loading/unloading during recovery scenarios.
• Operate autonomous vehicles using remote input devices to facilitate recovery, repositioning, or movement through complex environments.
• Provide professional, empathetic rider support during recovery events, including entry/exit assistance and light concierge support at PUDO sites.
• Troubleshoot and restore vehicle operation using terminal commands and internal GUIs, including power cycling hardware and flashing firmware as needed.
