Job summary

The Auto Club Group (AAA The Auto Club Group) seeks a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, assist stranded motorists with jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and safely tow vehicles when needed. You will work on the road, using tablets and GPS to manage requests and ensure high member satisfaction.

This field-based role requires a valid driver's license, DOT readiness, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug test, MVR, background, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using tow/service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services (tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing/installation, jump starts, lockout).Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
• Document daily activities, service calls, vehicle logs, and receipts.
• Maintain DOT certification and an acceptable driving record.
• Achieve goals for member satisfaction, safety, productivity, and battery services.
• Support community and AAA events as needed.
