Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to coordinate large-scale events and manage open events. You will work with drivers, customers, and service providers to ensure timely repairs, accurate estimates, and proper billing while maintaining exceptional service standards.

The role emphasizes high-priority project management, effective communication, and strict adherence to customer protocols across diverse roadside scenarios.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus 3 years of logistics/transportation/ automotive tech experience.
• At least 1 year experience in Cox Fleet role (Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and email communication.
• Strong communication skills by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and situations such as accidents or impounds.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that customer instructions are followed promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
