Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to join our team. You will coordinate major events, manage high-dollar repair approvals, and ensure smooth operation of roadside services for customers.

You will work with drivers, customers, and service providers to prioritize repairs, maintain prompt communication, and ensure proper billing and compliance with customer protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years in logistics, transportation, or automotive tech; advanced degree or 5 years experience may also qualify.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Cox Fleet Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-value repair approvals and handling incidents like accidents or impounds.
• Ensure timely repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Verify estimates are accurate.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, service providers, and teammates.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated to the service provider.
