Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage large-scale events, oversee maintenance operations and ensure prompt responses to repairs. You will coordinate with drivers, customers and service providers to uphold service standards.

The role emphasizes accurate estimates, effective communication, and adherence to customer protocols. A high school diploma or GED plus relevant experience is required, with Cox Fleet experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• 1 year of experience in a Cox Fleet role (Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
• Great communication skills by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-dollar repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
